The sky glimmered with opalescence and the moon made everybody fall asleep with there heads on the ground. As morning woke the sun I got up off the ground with a stiff neck from laying on the ground the night before. The sound of footsteps on the soil dirt woke me up I thought I saw a lion but it was just a mirage. The footsteps faded into a silent sound of the wind, the shadow of them followed into the forest.
As I sat down on the beach I looked down to the water, in the distance a a ship glazed across the water.
"A SHIP A SHIP!!!"
As I looked around the only person who heard me was Piggy, as the other little kids whimpered on the sand. Piggy's face looked incredulously like he didn't even believe what I was saying.
I looked up at the mountain, the fire was out!! "wheres the fire?! why is it out!?
I couldn't believe it where was Jack and the choir they were supposed to be keeping the fire going at that hour. A shrill came from the forest I looked to the left and Jack and his hunters brought a dead big on their shoulders.
"we caught a pig!" Jack poked through the bushes with a spear in his hands. He was preposterous I couldn't believe what he did. The ship passed, we could have been off the island. The idea was so irrelevant I couldn't believe it! we didn't need meat. his failures made me malevolent towards him. Everybody now implicated that Jack was the leader.

Amber,
Ah! I can totally relate to the feeling of waking up with a sore neck. A great way to connect the reader to the intro of your journal.
REVISION ASSIGNMENT: Add 5 more sentences that describe what happens when you meet up with Jack and his hunters.
